Registration & waiting list
We recommend registering your child as early as possible during your pregnancy. Given potential waiting lists, this gives you the best chance of securing a spot at your preferred location and on your preferred days.
You can register your child through our website, no strings attached. Would you like to see a location first? You’re welcome to request a tour or an introductory visit.
After registering, you’ll receive a confirmation. If no spot is available yet, we’ll add your child to the waiting list. As soon as a suitable spot opens up, we’ll get in touch.
Yes, you’re very welcome to come and have a look around. On our website, you can easily request a tour at your preferred location using the ‘Schedule a tour’ button on the location page.
The location manager will then contact you to arrange a visit.
Yes, you can list multiple preferred locations when you register. You can update these at any time by getting in touch with our child placement team at kindplanning@ijsterk.nl.
Yes. If you’d like to change anything in your registration, contact our child placement team at kindplanning@ijsterk.nl. They’ll be happy to sort it out for you.
There is often a waiting list at IJsterk, particularly for babies. How long you’ll wait varies by location and depends on a number of factors, including your child’s age, your preferred start date and the days you need care.
If you’re flexible on days, you’ll generally have a better chance of getting a spot sooner. Wednesdays and Fridays, for example, tend to become available more quickly.
Our child placement team can tell you more and will gladly look at the options with you.
Availability depends on a number of factors: your registration date, the days and start date you need, and your child’s age.
If a spot opens up, our child placement team will contact you by email.
If your child is on the waiting list for multiple locations, we’ll also check availability at those other locations.
It’s worth listing several locations you’d genuinely be happy with.
Yes. If your child already attends an IJsterk daycare, siblings get priority placement.
If you’ve indicated that you’re flexible on days, we’ll also look at other days to find a suitable spot for your child sooner.
