Our rates are calculated on the basis of being open 52 weeks a year. The rates include diapers, hot meals and bread meals, drinks, snacks, etc.

At IJsterk, we believe that every child should be able to grow, play, and learn in an environment where they feel safe and truly seen. Childcare should be accessible to all Amsterdam families even when financial resources are limited. That is why IJsterk offers a reduced hourly rate for parents who hold a Stadspas.
IJsterk’s standard hourly rate is higher than the rate covered by the childcare allowance. As a result, families with a lower income pay a relatively higher personal contribution. To support these families, IJsterk will offer a reduced hourly rate of €11.93 in 2026 for parents with a Stadspas.
With this reduced rate, we aim to lower the threshold and contribute to equal opportunities for all children in our city. If you are eligible for this hourly rate, please contact the Child Planning department at kindplanning@ijsterk.nl.
