Practical & administrative
We use the OuderApp Konnect for communication with parents.
Important information and updates come through the OuderApp Konnect and via direct contact with the childcare professionals. That way you’re always kept in the loop.
You can update a number of your details directly in the OuderApp Konnect.
If that doesn’t work, get in touch with our child placement team and they’ll be happy to help.
Adjusting care days is possible, depending on availability at the location.
If you’d like to make a change, contact our child placement team and they’ll look at the options with you.
You can request an additional one-off care day through the parent app. We’ll then check whether there’s space in the group to accommodate your request.
We also offer service days based on your contract. This means you can request a number of extra days per calendar year at no extra charge. These are only available if there’s space in the group and the occupancy allows for it.
Yes, through the OuderApp Konnect you can easily request a one-off extra day or a service day. These are granted if the group’s occupancy allows for it.
If availability allows, you can temporarily add extra care days.
Temporarily reducing days is usually not possible. We work with fixed contracted days so we can make the best use of available spots and offer care to as many children as possible.
The notice period is 1 month, starting from the day we receive your cancellation by email.
To cancel, send an email to our child placement team stating that you’d like to end the care and from which date.
Please keep the 1-month notice period in mind.
We value a good partnership with parents. We have daily contact at drop-off and pick-up and through the OuderApp Konnect.
There are also set moments for meetings, where we discuss your child’s development and wellbeing together, so we stay well aligned.
We work with consistent, familiar faces in every group, so children have childcare professionals around them they know and trust. This creates stability, security and a strong bond.
We also invest in the quality of our staff through attention to professional development, collaboration and a good working environment.
At every location, a pedagogical coach works alongside the manager. The coach supports and guides childcare professionals in their work with children, contributing to the quality of care.
We also use the Verbetermeter, a tool through which we regularly ask parents to rate the care. This gives us valuable feedback and helps us keep improving.
Through this ongoing support and focus on development, we continually monitor and raise the quality of our care.
If a staff member is ill or unavailable, we arrange cover. Where possible, we bring in someone the children already know, so the familiar environment is maintained. Every location has its own substitute pool for exactly this reason.
We welcome feedback and are always happy to talk. If you have a complaint, we’ll work together to find a suitable solution.
IJsterk also has a formal complaints procedure in place.
